GPMI: An intelligent use of the Bar code |

You can make "codes bars" with GPMI without this
module. It is enough for that to equip you with a scanner head
which connects in parallel with the keyboard, or with a scanner head
USB. The seizure Codes Bars replaces the keyboard then.
For that, a police force codes bars (Code 39) is installed with
GPMI. To publish information in Code Bars, modify standard the
Word edition of GPMI, and choose simply the C39 police force.
The disadvantage is that you cannot make another thing with your
PC, you must be in front of your window corresponding to your seizure.

 Why an additional module? This
module will enable you to make seizure Codes Bars while using the PC
with other functions (GPMI or not). In this case, the scanner head is
connected on the Série port of the PC (like
a telephone Modem). The program is carried out in background task, and
detects information progressively arriving on the Série port then the
draft with their arrival. For example, quelqu’one can make statements
of time or entries, during qu’another works on the same PC with...
GPMI, on another function. Or you can install a PC of workshop for
seizure of times, without need for the keyboard and GPMI. |
